Courses

Prong and Bezel Setting Course

12 hours to master Prong AND Bezel setting. All tools and material provided.
Course completion requirements: 4 sessions of 3 hour blocks to complete skills training certification to learn Prong setting and Bezel setting on round, pear, and princess cut stones.

Gypsy and Star Setting Course

12 hours to master Gypsy AND Star setting. All tools are provided OR bring your own tools.
Course completion requirements: 4 sessions of 3 hour blocks for you to complete skills training certification to learn how to do a Gypsy setting, and star setting on wedding band and flat support.

Castle and Fishtail Setting Course

8 hours to master Castle AND Fishtail settings. All tools provided.
Course completion requirements: 6 sessions of 3 hour blocks for you to complete skills training certification for Castle and Fishtail setting on wedding bands. All tools are provided but if you have a favourite graver, please feel free to bring along with you.

Pave Setting

24 hours to master Pavé setting on a wedding band AND flat support. All tools provided.
Course completion requirements: 8 sessions of 3 hour blocks for you to complete skills training certification for Pavé setting on wedding band and flat support. All tools are provided but if you have a favourite graver, please feel free to bring along with you.

The idea for "ALL YOU CAN SET" (AYCS) came to me from my experience in the jewellery industry. I noticed that it was hard for Australian businesses to find skilled stone setters and many qualified jewellers didn't have the skill required to set stones and achieve a better salary. I've worked as a training manager before, so I know how tough it is for companies to train employees while still staying competitive and for employees to stay relevant in this competitive industry.

This inspired me to create ALL YOU CAN SET to help businesses find skillled stone setters easily and to help jewellers like myself be a better candidate for the job at hand. The program aims to help businesses as well as jewellers. I want AYCS to be a helpful resource for all, jewellers and companies.

AYCS is a small group (3-4 setters) training course that will help you gain specialised skills to elevate your practice and improve your chances of being the best candidate for the job!
